Chana Masala 2.0
Ingredients (Spice Mix)
- 3tbsp Corriander powder
- 1tsp Ginger powder
- 1tsp Red chili powder
- 3tbsp Cuman powder
- 1tsp Tumeric powder
- 1tbsp Garam masala
- 2tbsp Pomegranate seed
Ingredients (Chick pea pressure cooking)
- Chick peas
- Salt
- 1 Bag Black tea
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Anar Ka Chilka (Dried Pomegranate skin)
- 1x Cinnamon stock
- 3 cloves
- 1 Black Cardamom
Ingredients (Masala)
- Red onion
- 1tsp Tomato purre
- 1/2 cup Yogurt
- 1tbsp Ginger/garlic paste
Instructions
- All ingredients into pressure cooker. Natural de-pressure. Fill with water so it covers (not less)
- Strain yogurt
- Once pressure cooker finished, trasfer into a large bowl
- Add spice mix to bown, gently mix
- Heat up some ghee
- When this starts to smoke, pour this over chic peas
- Add oil to large pan, heat
- Add onions to pan, cook until golden brown
- Add yogurt, cooking for 4-5 mins
- Add ginger/garlic paste
- Cook until oil seperates
- Add water + bowl chick peas
