Guacamole
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 small Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash: Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocado to your desired consistency.
- Add flavor: Add lime juice, salt, cumin, and cayenne (if using). Mix well.
- Mix in veggies: Stir in onion, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).
- Taste and adjust: Adjust seasoning with more salt, lime juice, or spice as needed.
- Serve: Serve immediately with chips, tacos, or your favorite dish.
